My day started with me awake until around 4am, creating this account in hopes of inspiring other writers, and becoming inspired myself. I have joined a group on here called "Amateur Writers." I am not entirely sure where to begin on this site, but as time progresses, I am sure I will be able to figure it out.

I fell asleep and awoke at around 10am to my friend Madie calling me about delivering a present to my house. She gifted me with "The Necronomicon: A Collection of Short Stories by H.P. Lovecraft. Although I am excited, I have yet to pick it up to read.

I went to work around 4pm and closed at midnight.

That was my entire day in a nutshell. After each entry, I have decided to write a poem, to keep my quill sharp, so to speak.



A Song of Sorrow
A Very Short Poem

In the end, you were just a dream.
Your breath upon my chest,
Matching every beat of my heart
Creating a rhythm undefined by any
Instrument this world can offer.

But of course,
You left me behind
On the day the scarlet
Of your neck
Dressed the grass.

Then I remembered you were just a dream.
